The challange
For over a century, scrap metal dealers have worked on a person-to person basis, agreeing prices based on local knowledge and market pricing. Scrapbays had created an app that would connect buyers and sellers, opening up a huge number of potential traders with better prices and a greater range of bidders. They wanted a campaign that would encourage the download and sell all of its benefits to the audience.

The idea
Using the voice of actor Perry Benson, we created a CGI robot called Scrapbot who would be the face of the campaign. In his own unique way, he would come to life on the app, website, social, film and printed collateral demonstrating the benefits of the app.
