The objective
Hungry Horse, a flagship brand for Greene King wanted to change perceptions of the brand and create family-focused dining environments where people of all ages feel welcome and would want to come back to time and time again. Hungry Horse needed something that inspired its people to go above and beyond the normal expectations of the traditional pub employee ensuring that customers felt valued and special throughout their visit, almost guaranteeing repeat custom.
The idea
Make my day is first and foremost a challenge from guest to employee. It then lays down a challenge to employees and inspires them to go above and beyond. The essence of “making someone’s day” became embedded in the message and the overall creative expression.
